Who told you the Fox Theater in Detroit was abandoned? There are concerts and plays and all sorts of events going on there EVERY DAY. It was restored in 1988 and is one of the most popular theaters in the midwest. And the largest of ALL the Fox Theatres.

Thanks for stopping by and setting the record straight! I believe the original source stated it was abandoned. Perhaps it was when he took that picture? I’m so glad to hear that the theater is flourishing! I’ll update the photo. 🙂

I just took another closer look at that sign and it’s clearly not abandoned. I have no idea why I thought it was. I might have been in too a great a hurry when looking for images for this post.
